The concertina effect!

Good Morning fellow crafters!

I hope everyone is well and all the children in your house are all back to school and are happy.
The nights, unfortunately, are really pulling in and the mornings have quite a nip in the air so I think Autumn is well and truly on its way but that always gives us some extra time to get stuck into our crafting projects and hopefully I can give you some inspiration with the projects that we have been busy doing in class today.
The projects were all based around concertina dies and this one is from the Crafters Companion Die-sire range.  This is the rectangle design and I have also used the Jingle bells overlay.  The photograph doesn't show off the glitter card but it is quite sparkly.

The poinsettias are from a punch and I sprayed them with a pearl spray to bling them up a bit.
The next one definitely has a Autumn feel to it using this really lovely Graphic 45 paper and Heartfelt Creations Sunflower stamp.  The sentiment is from a paper artsy set that I love to use.  This die set is from the Elizabeth Designs collection.

I have also got some lovely pictures from our recent Dabble Day which was a fabulous success again and thank everyone for attending.
Busy ladies doing what they do best!

Our next Dabble day is in November and this will be Christmas so looking forward to this one.
Today we have the lovely Clare Charville coming to the shop for a demonstration day and on Sunday we have a workshop and I am a student!! Hopefully, if I finish the project I will be able to show you it next week.
Hope that you enjoy a lovely weekend and thankyou, as always for popping in.
I would love to hear if you have had a go at the concertina type card.
Must dash a busy day ahead,
Bye for now,
Jo x

Day 26 - Its Graphic 45 again

Good Morning crafters,
Thankyou so much for all of your lovely comments from yesterday's post.
Today I have a project using some of my favourite paper stash (I think I mentioned this before!! lol)
It is Graphic 45 Time to Flourish.

The card is a 7" x 7" size and the main feature on the 12" x 12" sheet was perfect for the background.
The dies are from Tattered Lace and the butterfly is one of the new dies that Rosella is featuring on her show tomorrow on C and C. The corners were featured on last weeks Interchangeable embossing folders show that our lovely Liz was the guest for.
I have added glossy accents to some parts of the rose but it is difficult to see this on the photograph.

We currently have the Time to Flourish - Graphic 45 on the website in 8" x8" pads and stamps that match the designs, they really are stunning.  If you are interested please pop to the website which is letscreateartandcrafts.co.uk and remember P and P is free over a £10 spend and we still have the January offer on with 10% off your total order so it is worth a look! Just click on the link to get to the website.

I hope that todays piece of inspiration is to your liking, please leave a comment if you have the time, I appreciate it so much.

Thankyou again for popping in and hope to see you again tomorrow.
Bye for now

Day 23 -

Good Morning Everyone,

Friday already and I am back in the studio today for 2 shows one at 10am and one at 7pm! plenty of time to chat in the green room with all of our crafty work mates! A pocketful of dreams is on the agenda for both shows so pop and have a look if you have time on your hands!
Today I would like to share another Graphic 45 project that we did in class yesterday and everyone said that they enjoyed it - what are your thoughts?

It seems that simple is all the way at the moment and this really ticks that box.  The particular paper is from the Time to Flourish collection and this one is March.  The greens, cream and purples are a lovely mix. The photograph doesn't show it but I used glossy accents to highlight the flower head and main leaves it really makes them pop out of the paper.
The butterflies are from Tattered Lace and the border die is called Wedding garter from Cheery Lynn.
The simple sentiment with a little ribbon finishes the project off.
(Forgot to say the card size in 7" x 5" and opens from the top)
Simple but colourful and enjoyable to make.
Must press on and get my prep done for the show! magic hands will be chasing me up!
With it being Saturday tomorrow I will be back with the Allsorts Challenge as usual so hope to see you again tomorrow.
Thankyou for popping in today and, as usual, pop a comment in if you have time.
Bye for now
