Day 27 - Going around in circles

Good morning my blog friends,

Today, as the title suggests, we are going around in circles and this is definately a project full of circles.
This is a project that we did in class a few weeks ago and everybody enjoyed making it as it was quite unusual.

I started by making a circle card base using the largest of the Tattered Lace Essential circles set (you could also use the largest of the Tonic circles set ) This was then made into an easle card.
The effect on the front was achieved using 9 smaller circles and tea-bag folding them so each one had both sides folded upwards and there was a nice point at one end to place in the middle of the circle.  You need to use 3 different colours of papers to make this stand out. I inked all of the edges with vintage photo ink and then stuck them onto the easel front.  I suggest that you use photoglue (or something similar) so that you have a little time to move the circles into the right positions. The centre was simply a punched flower and a hobby house paper flower on the top.
I then cut a couple of smaller circles to mat and layer and make the stopper for the easel. As you can see the sentiment was placed on this with a tiny bow to embellish.
Something a little bit different and hope that you like the idea.
I am getting samples ready for tomorrows shows on C and C - I am doing the 8am and 10am on the Pick of the day on Ideal World.

Thankyou for popping in and hope to see you tomorrow - only a few days left now to get your comments in to be in to win the blog candy at the end of the month.
Hope you have an excellent day whatever you are doing.
Bye for now,
JO x
