DAY 28 AND 29! -

Hello Everyone!

Well! time just completely ran out today although my day started at 4.30 am with the very annoying alarm ringing. I really do not like the very dark mornings and we travelled all the way to Peterborough before it seemed as if the world was awake!
Having finished 2 shows on Ideal world with some fabulous deals on lovely Tattered Lace we came home, changed and just managed to get to the shop before we opened at 1 pm! Phew!!!
I was trying all afternoon to get a minute to post but it just wasn't to be so I thought why not post today and tomorrow in one!! I really hope that you don't mind but please be assured this is a necessity! lol x
                                       And so for Day 28!

Not the best picture ever - a little close up - I must say -  but hope that you can see that it is a little baby boy card using a couple of Tattered Lace's cute dies - the elephant and the duck!
I have also used one of the new interchangeable embossing folders to create the patterned squares and have spaced them equally with a gingham square with ribbon threaded over it and a button.  I thought this was a bit of something different to bring texture and interest into the design.
A little bakers twine in the middle of the button really sets them off - just a little bit of something sometimes is all that it needs.
The size of the card is 7" x 5".

and for Day 29!
from blue to pink -

This was a sample that I made for Rosella's show at the beginning of the week and although it is very simple I really enjoyed making it and I am very pleased with the result.
A classic combination with the pink and the black - one really sets the other off - do you agree?
The butterfly is called the Wonderous Butterfly and you can build it up into a magnificent one or quite an understated on if you wish.
I am unsure as to what make of stamp the sentiment is from as Denise (Mrs Box!) stamped a few out for me some time ago and I knew it would be used when the time came.
The background has been put through a dotty embossing folder to give it a little texture but doesn't take your eye off the main focus of the project.
I hope that the 2 designs have given you some ideas and thankyou for reading through 2 days in such
quick succession.
I hope that the snow hasn't reached you yet, if it has please take care and keep in the warm and ..................................    what a jolly good excuse to craft all day!!! lol

The end of the month is so close now so don't forget to leave me a comment to be in with a chance of receiving some blog candy when we draw everybodies names out.
You know how much I appreciate you popping in and spending your valued time reading my nonsense!
Must go as my eyes have been open for far too long today!
Hope to see you really soon,
Bye for now
Jo xx

  7. Jo, could I please order a bottle of your inspiration! Will be sad when the month is ended and you have stopped your daily posts. You have covered a wide variety of styles and themes and plenty of inspiration. Again two stunning cards.
