Welcome to another Allsorts Challenge card and this week we have had a fabulous title to
work with ~
New and Cute!
and this is the project that I would like to show you ~
This is cute and would be perfect for a new baby so it covers the title nicely.
It is a really clean and simple card with the base measuring 6" x 6". The main topper has been made using a number of dies - the 2 plain circles are from my Tonic circle set and the pink circle was a shape out of a paper kit and I thought it was perfect to use for Spirelli, winding pink and white bakers twine around the shape. The duck is the gorgeous little die from Tattered Lace - so cute! I cut this in pink glitter card.
The background lattice was also out of a paper kit and I ran it through an embossing folder to give some interest to it. A tag with the new baby sentiment on it finishes it off.
I hope you like it and it inspires you to have a go at the Allsorts Challenge this week. Pop over to the Allsorts blog and have a look at the other design team ideas which are really lovely.
Today I am busy getting my samples and demonstrations ready for the CHA shows on Create and Craft my first show is Sunday at 1pm and I have a fabulous paper kit from Tattered Lace to play with it really is so pretty and you can get so many projects from it.
Liz will be on at 10am on Sunday with some amazing dies that are being launched at CHA!
Lots of lovely things to show you!
I hope that you enjoy a lovely weekend and if you have a few minutes please pop a comment for me and remember that I am blogging every day in January and there will be a draw for some blog candy at the end of the month if you leave a comment.
Thankyou for popping in
