Day 4 - A little Rock and Roll!

Good Sunday Morning to you all!

Welcome back to all of my lovely followers.  I have a little bit of Rock and Roll mixed into todays  bite of inspiration ~

This is a card I made for our lovely friend Jayne and she is a rock and roll chick through and through so this really did fit the bill.
The main piece of the project was made using one of the Create a Card die-sires from Crafters Companion and this is a great all rounder and can be used for so many different birthdays depending on the age of the Birthday girl or boy. I have cut and embossed it onto silver pearl card and then backed it onto black glitter card to give it a bit of pizzazz.
In the very background the music paper that I have used is from Woodware which again is so useful.
The faux record ( the youngsters reading this won't recognise this!!) was made using a circle die and marking graduating circles on it in pencil. The image of the rock and roll pair (Jayne and Steve!!)
comes from a stamp from Creative Expressions. I didn't colour this as I wanted the same tones to show throughout the project.
Jayne loved it and I hope that you do too and that it might give you another idea if you need something along these lines.
A massive thankyou to you all for having a little look at the website - we really appreciate your positive comments.
Will sign off now and hope that you can leave a comment - the saying is you need to be "In it to win it" so leave a comment to be in with the draw for candy at the end of the month.
and I love to hear from you all too!!
Hope that you can pop in tomorrow to see what I can inspire you with.
Bye for now
Jo xx

  5. Brilliant card. My son is 40 but still prefers vinyl records and he plays guitar in a rock group so it would be a good card for him!
